The essay above is about the costs and benefits of gene editing in the modern world. We used the Dalai Lama’s essay on gene editing as a base source for our paper. We also had to answer the question, what will regulate genetic testing and the technology of CRISPR. Out of the 3 essays we wrote this semester, I think this essay was the best one I wrote, and I also enjoyed writing this one the most as well. I think that I thoroughly understood the readings and had a clear outlook on where I wanted to go with this paper. I think this paper shows my growth of analyzing and drafting from the first paper I wrote.
