Drafting is an essential part of the writing process. As I am writing, I tend to go through many stages of drafts that get altered as the points I am trying to make become more clear. When I first start my draft I use an outline to map out my thoughts. The mind bubbles we used in class at the beginning of the semester were very helpful for how i organize my thoughts. I also like to write down ideas I have for paragraphs topics and ideas for my thesis. After I have my idea for a paragraph I find a quote that supports the topic of my paragraph and start writing from there. I also spent a lot of time doing local revisions as well and working with peers helped point out spelling and grammar mistakes that I can fix. I think that over the course of my semester, I have become a lot better at drafting and editing. I thinking going into the future, I will continue to take toe approach of making an outline to complete projects I need to complete. This is the best way I can organize what I want to say, and be as clear as possible. Although it might look rough and messy at first, it helps me turn my paper into a polished piece.
